Services

The mission of the Business Technology Center (BTC) is to support, encourage and coordinate technology initiatives in the College of Commerce. The BTC helps faculty and staff integrate technology into the academic mission of the University through research and consulting on new developments in technology, as well as by providing support and training.

The BTC maintains qualified staff to ensure that needs are met accordingly in conjunction with the organization needs of the College. The BTC staff continuously explands skills by way of training, conference participation, hands-on experience and keeping abreast of new trends in technology.

Services include:

  • Web site development and support; create and host customized Web/database forms; online surveys; Web enhancement tools and consultation; content management system maintenance and training; and the creation/editing of Web content
  • Sedona faculty database maintenance
  • Hardware/software consultation and support
  • Server-hosting and support for standalone systems
  • Editorial support for Commerce publications
  • Faculty course evaluation project
  • Digital photography for special events in the College, including faculty headshots
  • Providing database support for the Trading Room

Additionally, BTC collaborates with IS and other University departments to advance the use of technology within the College of Commerce.
