Compustat North America

Compustat North America is a database of U.S. and Canadian fundamental and market information on more than 30,000 active and inactive publicly held companies. It provides thousands of income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow, and supplemental data items.

Changes to Compustat
In the summer of 2007, WRDS adopted the new Compustat Xpressfeed format. The Industrial Annual and Industrial Quarterly queries (COMPANN and COMPQTR tables) are no longer updated. They have been replaced by Fundamentals Annual and Fundamentals Quarterly (FUNDA and FUNDQ tables). Please see the Xpressfeed overview on the Compustat manuals page for more information.
